Day 42 – 4th June 2014 Wednesday. Headed off reasonably early and stopped at Halls Creek for fuel at Coles Express. Walked down the street to the IGA for a few supplies. Arrived at free camp Mary Pool at 11.15am. Set up near mum and dad. There were bindi’s around so put the floor down. Camp is very spacious, lots of shady spots and next to the Mary River. Kevin headed off to explore and I just rested, talked with campers as they arrived and set up. There was a croc sighted in the river but I didn’t see it. Lots of interesting people around. Some appeared to be there more than the 24hr limit.
