Little Bee flies through world history...

^^ my first real Backpacking Trip, all alone...Me, my backpack and my camera alone through Malaysia and my first day is not yet over and the Malaysian population, at least some of the men already grossed me out xD

Well but to that more later.

I left Singapore this morning and well, this goes to all Bus companies in Europe, that´s how Bus riding should be for long trips...Huge seats, nice and comfortable and a quite decent Busdriver.

Never had such a relaxing travel, like the seat would have been enoug for two people^^

Now the first thing I noticed here was that they literally have palm forests here...Imagine the blackforest with only palms...I tell you, nice view^^

This kinda gave me my explorer wish back, which was lost in the daily life in Singapore, but now it´s back^^

The next thing were the toilets here. You learn three things, you have the low standing ones, never forget your toilet paper and when you flush, make a jump back, otherwise you´ll get wet feet.

Which you probably are going to get either way, because instead of toilet paper, there is a water hose, so guess how the floor looks like-.-

So now first I thought it was nearly comical to have a old man suddenly making kiss noises in my direction. Now after several of these incidents, people making stupid comments, staring and winking at you, no matter how they look like. Hell ye think I am desperate, some of them I wouldn´t even touch with gloves. Yuck!!!

Also some were so short that I was already wondering what was going on in their weird minds...Gross-.-

Well but besides that the people here are quite nice, if they don´t try riping you off your money.

Remember no matter what your buying, you always can go lower xD

Well when I arrived here, it was quite something to find the hostel, without a card and directions, well I asked myself though, but it took me some time. The hostel really is quite luxerios, but the showers are so funny^^...I but a picture in =)

After a short shower I started walking to the KL Tower. Why do they have to hide everything here xD After I finally found it and walked up there, I turned around on the spot...The hell I am paying nearly 15 Euro to go up a tower. No way! So I walked around a bit, nearly fell in some of the random holes in the street, got scared of the trains here...soooo old and rusty and found a nice lovely place, walked though the Central Market and China Town and am going to have a little drink later on...oh and booked my busdrive to the Cameron Highlands

Central Market is kinda cute but if you don´t bargain hard you lose tons of money.

China Town deadly annoyed me. You can´t just have a look around, as soon as you stop the shop owners run at you and don´t leave you a second alone. It kinda bothers me, I need my peace when I go shopping...

I later went to McDonalds, because I was to tired to search for some food I would like here. I have to check out the street food, that looked pretty promising. I paid for a Big´n Tasty Menu just 2,30 Euro...take that Germany :P

It tasted so good, because it was my first real meal today.

Now a short summery, if you think Rome is dirty, don´t worry it´s so much worse here. If you ever thought LA is run down, don´t worry here you just want to get a bucket of paint and start making the place look nicer. If you think people in China drive crazy, don´t worry here they are the same, what is even worse, here are less people. Means in China you passed mostly the street with a huge crowd so standing in the middle no car can hit you and also they have to stop, here you cross alone, so you better run, nobody will stop for you.

But still I think KL has it´s own, very chaotic charm^^

Hellooooooo well next day, new tour...

I decided to do the 7 wonders tour, which meant I could see everything I wanted without having to run alone through KL...

So when I arrived there, there were two couples and a Singaporean guy, which I thought was kinda funny, because he was the first real Singaporean I talked two, but I already stayed there for more than a month...

Our first stop, after being in the traffic jam was a Buddhist Temple, which I really liked, because it was beautiful made.

There we all figured our Horoscope signs out. The others were by the way from Iceland, Canada and I already forgot which the other country was and Singapore.

Now think about it we were pretty international :P

After the temple we drove on, now to little India and had a very short stroll there and from there we went into the National Mosque.

Wow that building is just plain beautiful, like I was really struck by it. As a woman we had to but a purple, traditional robe on and a had to cover our hair too. Basically we all looked kinda hilarious...

And the guys had to put the purple robes on too, there shorts were to short.

Later on, this Muslim guy tried to tell us why the woman body has to be protected from view and so on, which I thought was kinda funny, especially while he talked he never even once looked me in the eyes, so I had a blast with just purposly looking at his face to see if he would give up :P

After that we drove to the Palace, did you know that they have 9 kings in Malaysia and each one can reign for 5 years, than they have to change places. Also they have soldiers standing in front there, like in England. They were not allowed to move and there were to horses too, they get changed every hour because that´s the longest time they can stand still. I do understand that one horse which was biting at every tourist coming to close to it...I would do the same...

After that we all were literally starving ohh I forgot the Museum of KL. We went there too and had a stroll through history and were totally amazed by the little wood houses and carvings they were making there.

Now we got our first sticker, why? I have no clue but I thought it was kinda funny...

We than went to the Batu Caves. A stunning place, if you have more time take the Adventure track through the dark part, it´s supposed to be great, but we didn’t´t have the time.

So first we ate some Indian food, very traditional and it was quite tasty, I am just not so fond of it, I guess. The toilet than totally grossed me out. I think I just cant live with the toilets here-.-

So now after we were full of energy from the food, we started our walk up the steps, which seemed endless, over 200 and very step and tiny. On the sides were monkeys watching us and we watching them, they were so cute. Finally at the temple, which was open for public we were totally stunned, this cave is huge and so old. I love places that smell old, it´s like you can smell history...

The temple itself was less stunning and I liked the Idea just to tear it down and put something more interesting in there, like a dance place, but pssst I never said I would support that idea :P

Well than we went to different stores, like a tin shop, a chocolate shop and a coffee one. Well the tin was very expensive, the chocolate I can buy in Germany and the coffee was just instance and every time with milk and already sweetened, don´t get me wrong but I prefer my coffee black.Ohh and got before entering even more stickers on our shirts.

We than went off at the a huge mall and now imagine this 9 floors and in this mall they even had a entertainment park with a huge roller-coaster. We were nearly alone there, so no standing in lines and it was a blast, the roller-coaster, with three loops, the hunted house with real actors, the tons of head over things. And trust me they were really good. But than we drove one of them and that one got us all really, really sick, like I never had something like that before and they all were watching us and seemed to have fun to get us really sick and just randomly pushed buttons...After that we were knocked out for at least half an hour....

We than went back to the Hostel...

By the way if you want to go really shopping with tons of cheap clothes, Malaysia is your place to be. I didn´t because I didn´t want to carry everything, but amazing prices. Just don´t expect too much quality, those are no brands...

In the evening we went out to eat, and I had the first time frog, which tastes quite good by the way^^, after strolling through the market and ohh well I gues I had a bit to much to drink, and those who know me, know that I than just talk far to much, like really far too much...So if anybody from yesterday is reading this I already apologize xD

But still I remember everything, didn´t feel bad in the morning so all ok, not too bad :P

I fell into my bed at two after packing everything and killing some ants and slept like a baby.
