A horrible picture. The discarded prosthetic limbs of those sent to the gas chambers. Many of these prosthetic limbs belonged to German WW1 Veterans.

Inside one of the barracks were over 1000 people stayed at a time. Imagining the scene in this building over half a century prior made us tremble.

One of the images that will never leave us for the rest of our lives. A pile of shoes, many of them childrens shoes, that once belonged to those that died here in Auschwitz. Who were those people and what has the world missed out on by their premature departure?
