Day 34

If you ever go to Cairns for a holiday we recommend you hire a car and spend a couple of days around the Atherton area. There are lots of things to see and many walks you could take - we have only scratched the surface. The photos show what we did today and are in the correct order, but the green doesn't show up as well as in real life nor do you see the extent of the rainforest and other growth. Although Premier Joe once said, "you can do a lot with a bulldozer in Queensland", thank goodness many people have retained the forest that was here - but we can still see that a lot has been cleared (not as much as SA). The weather today was a bit cooler but still very fine with cooler nights. One photo I did not include was the Hypipamee Crater, near Dinner Falls, as they did not show up very well but the crater was definately worth a visit.
