Day 23
AUSTRALIA | Wednesday, 13 July 2011 | Views [164]
An early start today as the Jeep had its wheels rotated etc so more time spent at Casuarina Square (the mall). We then went into Darwin where I was able to get a copy of a marriage certificate I wanted for my family history research from Births, Marriages and Deaths, and also got a copy of some probate papers related to my grandmothers death from the NT Archives and they are sending me some others. We also visited three more aboriginal art galleries and the Darwin wharf area where they have an artifical wave making pool which was very popular as it is school holidays here. Our final visit of the day was out to Gray to visit my last remaining Aunt the wife of my mother's brother where I was able to gather more detail for the family history saga.
