Day 19
AUSTRALIA | Monday, 4 July 2011 | Views [235]
Finally caught up with washing and cleaning then headed into central Darwin. Visited the NT Library to do some family history research. The library is located in the wonderful NT Parliment House building. The librarian was unable to help me but gave advice on where info may be found. Discovered the Speaker's Corner Cafe which must have one of the best locations in Darwin and good food too. Visited more aboriginal art galleries and I visited The NT Archives and arranged to go back again on Friday to look at some records which have to be brought out of storage. Our neighbours today are travelling with their three daughters in an Expanda van and have travelled part of the Savannah Way which we hope to do, so it was great to get some first hand info.
