A long day of driving today with stops at Pimba and Glendambo. Although the scenery at first seemed monotonous when we looked closely the plants varied considerably with silver, redish and bright green foliage as well as the good old Ozzie olive green. The land contours also varied with a number of escarpments and valleys as well as several salt lakes. 70km before Coober Pedy, in the middle of the afternoon, there was a man on a bicycle. Tonight we are at the Oasis Caravan Park in Coober Pedy where you have to pay for your water.
