Cuenca to the Peruvian border

A very sad road accident. This hummer flew down the cliffface with its partner, went straight between my wheels and hit a pedal. It was shocked for a while but miraculously flew away after a few minutes. One of the reasons we prefer bikes over cars is that bikes usually don't kill. Felt really sad about it. The hummingbird is a Colobri coruscans or sparkling violetear
