Screaming Goat and Dead Animals at Maccas

NEW ZEALAND | Sunday, 29 November 2009 | Views [553] | Comments [2]

today we caught a bus to Greymouth. it was painfully boring. the driver took a wrong turn and we took a long-cut. we had a few stops, which were nice :) We walked down to a rocky beach with a waterfall. for most of the journey the driver was talking about how were were stopping for the pancake rocks. I must admit that when we got there, i was dissapointed to find that we were looking at rocks SHAPED like pancakes, instead of eating pancakes cooked on hot rocks as i though we would be. haha. when we got here, suz and i went down town to get some food for dinner. on the way, we walked past maccas and saw 5 pretty bogan looking guys next to an old bashed up car. one of them was holding a goat on a lead (GREAT first impression greymouth). Anyway, we couldn't hide the fact that we were laughing, and so they asked us why. we walked over to them, and the goat let out this LOUD shrill scream and ran at us a bit. some of the guys jumped on it. They told us that it was their pet. hahaha. then they showed us all the rabbits and native (protected) animals that they had killled hunting that day. the back of the car was full of them! after getting our photo's taken with the bogan boys, their goat on a lead and dead animals in front of maccas, we headed to the shops, went home and cooked dinner. BEST. DAY. EVER. Cat xx
