Mum, we are alive!!
Just a short blog- net here is TERRIBLE and slow and expensive :( its coin operated and we have lost $4 already because we have now found out that only one of the computers works!
I'll do it in point form!
-left Taupo yesterday morning, drove past "mount doom" (lord of the rings) and through a desert.
-arrived in Nelson, probably the coolest backpackers we have stayed in so far (except for the net!) got a pool and spa and sauna and free breakfast (and free boiled vegetables for tea... we haven't reduced ourselved to that yet...). and little attics with ladders to climb into them :)
-i went to able tasman national park today (cath didn't really like the idea of having to walk 12km through the bush). first we went on a cruise and then got dropped off and had to walk back to this tiny town where the bus picked us up... is was SO pretty there :)
better go, don't want the net time to run out before this posts!
