Entry 2: The love abides in Goodyear, Arizona!

USA | Sunday, 22 December 2013 | Views [388]

Figuring that sweet momma 650 might dig some fresh oil, a clean filter and a new set of rear brake pads, I started bird-dogging for place that was north of the border and after 4 failed attempts in Phoenix, I found a little jewel of a shop in Goodyear, Arizona named Southwest Motorsports. This is a great shop that reminded me of my days in Steamboat where the barter system rules, folks care about one another, and most people are just raised right. I was afforded a small chunk of shop real estate (free of charge) to test out my motorcycle maintenance preparedness level and dish out some light petting to the ride. Jim and Ronda seemed to go out of their way to make sure that I had what I needed and made me feel at home. Kudos to these classy cats. I didn’t take any action photos but I took a couple pics of the kids with class.
