I left Colorado when the proverbial travel iron was hot. For two weeks prior to launch the mercury didn't climb out of the "it's great weather for to ice fishing" range so when the temps got into the 50's, I hauled ass south chasing the dream of two wheel freedom in a warm climate.
I'm gonna keep this entry short as it's really just my way of sticking a toe in the travel blog waters and there's not much to be gleemed from the 3 day, 900 mile leg. I will however leave you with a though that entered my head as I white knuckled it across New Mexico with 25mph cross-wind that dilated my sphincter to watertight mode more than once.
It's really more of a a bastardized quote from Princes' Bride than it is an original though but the shit made me laugh in the face of scuba mode... Never get involved in a land war in Asia,...Never go against a Sicilian when death is on the line... and Never ride your motorcyle from Colorado to Arizona in Winter
