So, day three, legs are sore, backs a bit sore, but my belly is full and I'm on the Sudafeds.... Today is supposed to be 'undulating' according to Martine.... Hmmmm that means hills... And lots of em. Suprisingly, today starts out harder than I expected, yesterday was supposed to be he hard day.. So what the?! Mind you the weather is clear and the climbs don't seem to be as large they are still there. My lungs are challenged to say the least and are probably the thing that is giving my the most grief.
Early morning I'm at the back of the pack again, of well. I finally make it to the meeting point and that's it, no time for a break, and I'm done. It got the better of me and tears welled, I told Martine to do story time with the group and I continued to walk. A porter caught my distress and kissed me on the head, suprised me and made me smile. I felt empowered again, I'm not racing anyone! It actually turned out to be a fabulous day walking hard, but much more enlightening than the last two! Pulled into camp to have all the porters clap and cheer me in (for the second time) how embarrassing! Only 29 minutes after the last one though! Camped at 2600mtrs
