We left Netherthong around 9.30am having had a great time with Dave, Kate, Izzy and Rory - it was lovely to see them again. They had stayed with us in Bundanoon a couple of years ago and we had some good old natters, catching up!
It was rather a dreary day, although not too bad for travelling. We reached Sam's around 1pm and spent a lazy afternoon catching up with her and doing our washing! In the afternoon it bucketed down so we were glad we hadn't made any plans.
Tomorrow we're off to Birmingham - another town we have never been to, although Ron has been through it in the past and been to a couple of footy games there. During this holiday we've driven around the outskirts a few times, but not into the city.
Today was the anniversary of the London Bombings (and also Sarah's 37th birthday - happy birthday!)
