Worker Kid

Worker Kid

I saw a kid walking with a shovel taller than him when we were at Surok River. I decided to call him and talk to him. I love talking to native kids when I visit a place because I learn so many things from them. Anyway, I talked to the kid and I found something very distressing. This 6-year-old kid carries sacks of stones from place to place for 8 hours and gets paid P40.00($0.93) for it!

You illegal and unjust child employers! All the laborers you've exploited and cheated cry out for judgment. The groans of the laborers you used and abused are a roar in the ears of God the Master Avenger. You abused your laborer who is destitute and needy. You failed to pay him at the end of each workday. He's living from hand to mouth and needs his wages. You held back his pay, he'll protest to God and you'll have sin on your books.
