I've not been up to thaaat much lately hence the shortage of entrys so I thought I'd better make one today.

Today, Daryl said he was planning on going for a walk to check out the proper part of the harbour where all the boats are and I decided to go along. It was waaay more of a trek than either of us had expected. We walked through a nice park and into a park which could have been nice if it wasn't right next to an extremley busy motorway. We needed to cross the road but, since neither of us fancied risking our lives and running across, we asked a local where we could cross. He was nice enough to inform us that we had to walk all the way back the way we had came then all the way back up the rediculously steep hill we had walked down. Tonight, my legs are feeling it.

However, we found our way eventually and crossed over the bridge to the harbour. There were so so so so many boats. What you'd expect at a harbour but it was still impressive. It made me want a boat when im older, would be so cool just to be able to sit in it after work on a sunny day with a beer. Then we saw some boats that were for sale and that made me wonder if I would ever have enough money for one :(

We walked back via a supermarket neither of us had been to; New World. It is so so so so so much better than Food Town where I'd previousley been shopping so thats where I'll be going from now on. Veggie burgers on offer and everything!

Made some sweet chilli stir fry for tea, was awesome, everyone was impressed, they had pasta and jar sauce again haha.

As for my job related plans, no one has got back to me yet. I'm thinking that getting a job in Auckland might not be happening so I'm tempted to book my Kiwi Bus and head down south first, seems like there could be jobs there, but then I thought the same about the north at first. My bank transfer went through today so I have money thankfully, hopefully it'll last me long enough to find work!

Yesterday I felt well homesick, mostly because I was sitting around so so so bored with nothing to do all day ha. Being away from everyone has really made me appreciate that I have such such such awesome friends, the best girlfriend in the world and an amazing family. I miss you all!
