Yesterday the few of us that are still staying in Auckland, Daryl, Gemma, Cheryl and I, jumped on a bus and headed to a beach that, yet again, I've forgotten the name of (I should really start writing them down). It was pretty damn sunny so I made good use of the new awesome shades I'd just bought. We lay around on the beach for a bit then decided to take a walk up the coast. We walked as far as the beach went and then came to a load of volcanic rocks that lined the shore. The next half hour was spent clambering over them carefully as there was a pretty steep drop into the sea off of the edge. The views were really impressive which is probably why the whole way along there was loads of expensive houses. It would amazing just walking down your garden and then onto the rocks.
After trekking along we came to a wee suburb, whos name I cant remember, and caught the bus from there back in to Auckland. At night we made some food in the hostel and I did some washing. I've conquered the washing machine and tumble dryer now, just need to face the iron.
As for my plans, I said I was going to travel north on a Kiwi Experience bus and find work in Kerikeri. These might have to change. A few of the people who came over from the UK with me were already up in Kerikeri. They couldn't find work up there and have headed back down to Auckland. I still need to get the details from them and see how hard they looked but if its looking like I wont have any luck up there then I'll probably set about finding work here in Auckland before I do any traveling. Either way, I need to find a job pretty soon or I'm going to run out of money!
I just recieved a call from my uncle Alberto. Tea in the revolving resturaunt up the Sky Tower for me tonight. Thank you very much.
