We arrived into River Valley in the late afternoon having stopped at the waterfall which was used in Lord of the Rings (everything seems to be part of Lord of the Rings to be honest). The lodge is in the middle of nowhere basically and its normally a really good white water rafting spot but unfortunately the river was too low so we spent the evening playing games with people on the bus. We left after lunch the next day and it was a nice - albeit very quiet and relaxed - stop over and it was really pretty around the area.
