It is time...

Algonquin and Madawaska

CANADA | Monday, 15 June 2009 | Views [457]

The Moose base camp in Madawaska was basically a large house with rooms stuffed with bunk beds. Funnily enough, it was a comfortable and relaxing stay. The living area had loungy couches and they have a reasonable selection of games, which were good fun. Also, Madawaska is near Algonquin Provincial Park. Our aim for the time there was to see a moose. And on the very last day of the moose tour, we saw one! It was grazing by the road but quickly left when too many people started to gather and take photos of it. But still, I saw a moose! I think my canadian animal spotting list is complete now :)
