"Fishheads, Fishheads, Rolly, Polly Fishheads"

My title is from a song that I once heard on MTV. The video was just as crazy as the song. I was reminded of this song, and video when I took a stroll along a fish market by the harborfront in Sokcho city, this past weekend.

Here is the original video of the song. It is a gas!

Here is a six minute video that I took while walking down the busy outdoor fish market. Not as exciting as the videos though.

Here are the crazy lyrics to the song;

Fish Heads by Barnes and Barnes
**********

Fish heads, Fish heads
Rolly polly Fish heads
Fish heads, Fish heads
Eat them up, Yummm

Fish heads, Fish heads
Rolly polly Fish heads
Fish heads, Fish heads
Eat them up, Yummm

In the morning
Laughing, happy
Fish Heads
In the evening
Floating in the soup

Fish heads, Fish heads
Rolly polly Fish heads
Fish heads, Fish heads
Eat them up, Yummm

Ask a Fish head
Anything you want to
They won't answer
They can't talk

Fish heads, Fish heads
Rolly polly Fish heads
Fish heads, Fish heads
Eat them up, Yummm

I took a Fish head
Out to see a movie
Didn't have to pay
To get it in

Fish heads, Fish heads
Rolly polly Fish heads
Fish heads, Fish heads
Eat them up, Yummm
They can't play baseball
They don't wear sweaters
They're not good dancers
They don't play drums

Fish heads, Fish heads
Rolly polly Fish heads
Fish heads, Fish heads
Eat them up, Yummm

Rolly polly Fish heads
Are never seen drinking
Cappacino in Italian restaurants
With Oriental women...Yeah

Fish heads, Fish heads
Rolly polly Fish heads
Fish heads, Fish heads
Eat them up, Yummm

Fish heads, Fish heads
Rolly polly Fish heads
Fish heads, Fish heads
Eat them up, Yummm...

Well, I thought that song was just bizarre, but reminded me of this market as I was walking through. With all the fish both alive in tanks, and dried fish, I couldn't believe my eyes. They were even cooking fish in stalls, and there was so many different kinds of fish it was unreal. Way too many people were in the same area, so my video that didn't catch as much fish as I wanted. I also lost the quality to the video by hosting it on google.

Me and a few friends who picked up three "Squid sausages" sat by the east sea, eating squid sausage (eat them up, yum). Only in Asia can you eat something like that ;)
