After months upon months of terrible sleeping here in Cambodia I finally have a new mattress. It is incredible! Already I have had three amazing nights of sleep on it and I question why I did not do this sooner.
Steph is leaving Cambodia shortly (to equip herself with new skills that she can use when she returns) and kindly sold me this wondrous mattress. The whole procedure went a bit like this - we went to pick it up, found a friendly tuk tuk driver who was willing to assist us carry it down the stairs, lift it onto the top of his tuk tuk, tie it down, then he drove us to Toul Kork and help unload my new bundle of sleeping joy.
I am so happy that my head and my feet and no longer elevated about 30 degrees above my midsection. It is like what a bed should be, fully supportive and bringer of good sleep. The first night I rested my weary head upon it I was sleepy almost instantly….a feeling I haven’t had since being in Cambodia. So indescribably happy that I can get some decent shut eye now….yay!
