The bathroom in the Karen village. Down stairs, over stream of muck (kitchen scrap, waste water etc) and into a little dirt/mud floor hut. Um, basically a hole in the floor!!!

Two cats in the Karen hut we stayed at, on the first night of my trek. They are allowed into the 'kitchen' area...dogs are not. Here, they're gloating back at the dogs, hovering in the doorways.

Fruit trees ringing the lake in Mae Hong Son yield some pretty big fruit. Dunno what it is though.
