    Ah, the railing. The water LOOKS calm on the surface, but it was next to impossible to keep your feet from being swept out from under you. Just another reason why you NEED a guide...we had all been convinced that a railing was a ridiculous paranoia....how wrong we were. Without it, I think I'd stil be swimming that river!!
