Taken from the top of one of the Marble Mountains, which are huge marble outcroppings along the coast of Vietnam. Each of the 5 mountains is said to represent a different element ~ earth, fire, metal, wind, and.....? i forget. i'll get back to this one, i guess! haah.

China Beach ~ just outside of Danang. It was very cold and windy when we were there, so we only stopped for a few minutes to take some pictures. But despite the weather, the beach to the right of this photo was packed with picnic-ing families, dogs playing in the surf, and couples snuggled into blankets to watch the waves.
