hello all
iv been busy, still. iv applied for one of my passports but am finiding it more difficult to get ly australian one because the embassy only does interviews between 9am and 12, and its in brussels, and i work late at night so getting up that early is difficult to get a train there.
i beleive the job is going well and my dutch is coming along better than it was before but if you talk to me in dutch i will still reply in english. dont ask why. its just the way i roll.
parci has also foind a job at the VOORUIT as a freelance barman but it appears to be more full time than it was meant to be. so he is working there during the day. and since i work nights we havent seen much of each other the past few days. but this saturday night after we finish work (i scored a day shift and finish at 7pm) we going out for dinner to celebrate our one year anniversary. time flies like a bubble doesnt it.naturally iv been doing my best to drive him crazy over what kind of present i bought for him but he'll never find out.
apart from that nothing really is going on. i was a bit sad today because i finished the bag of lollies i had sent to me from my dad in australia. belgium has nice lollies but nothing beats the australian ones.
other foods i also think are awesome are belgian fries, and the english cereal shreddies. when i go back to australia i am taking as many boxes of that cereal as i can. when i was at my aunts place in england i had to restrain myself to only 3 or 4 bowls of shreddies a day. ARGH i just looked at an english shop in holland and shreddies in there cost 6euros for 500grams!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
thats outrageous! thats like, 10AUD Dollars!!!!

oooo theres british shops in brussels. i must go there...
oh something that did happen is i changed ly return flight to australia for june 8th, so we will probably be leaving for england on the 6th of june, instead of the 4th january.
time to brush my teeth. i have a dutch test tomorrow. hoe heet jij en waar woon jij?????????? ik ben lauren en ik woon in een bloom. het is heel prima.
