Not bored yet!

So I had from 10am at checkout until 10pm when my bus takes me away to Puno to spend the day, bored, because everyone I know and love has left for Machu Picchu and and my dorm was empty.

Or so I expected.

I was walking around the city for a little while, and for some reason this cute Peruvian hippie guy and I started chatting out of nowhere! We ended up sitting in the Plaza del Armes at a fountain, talking forever (he speaks perfect English, but he gave me some free Spanish lessons on past tense!). An Australian guy came up and asked him to make him one of those hemp hair danglies, so he did, because he makes them for a living and does a SPECTACULAR job for only 15 soles, and now it turns out that I'm going to email Ausralian guy once I'm in Bolivia because he's coming, too, in a few days, and we're going to try to do the Uyuni salt flats together!

Then there was the huge concert in the park nearby with all these great rock and fusion and punk bands, so I watched that until now when I thought I'd check my email before I take off! It's good to waste time on the computer every now and then :P
