Managed a short morning run to the Los Churros falls. The trail was a killer on the ankles but it was a good kick start to the day.
After some long sought after decent coffee and a tasty fruit salad we headed for the chicken bus to check out Apaneca & walk to La Laguna verde. The lake was nothing special but it was a nice walk through the village & surrounding area.
We then hopped a little further along the Ruta de Las Flores & stopped in Concepcion de Ataco for lunch. Found an awesome organic cafe called Tayua and had an indulgent feast in their cute garden courtyard.
Spent the avo strolling around the town before heading back to Juayua to relax back at the hostel.
Another night of being able to cook in a decent kitchen and great DVD selection we were all set for a night in our home away from home!
