We left early from Xela and arrived in Panajchel by bus before getting a boat to San Pedro La Laguna.
We settled into our hotel - a little way back from the main stretch, good views, hammocks & less than $3 a night!
After a tasty lunch of tacos lakeside we explored San Pedro & then decided to boat over to San Marco La Laguna.
We had a very relaxing afternoon in San Marco, explored the tiny town, hung out at the local coop, sampled some raw food smoothies & then boated back to San Pedro.
Dinner & drinks at a funky little bar with great food (Buddha Bar) and that's pretty much it. While we did get an invite to a full moon party on the lake Lindy was not keen and it's definitely not possible to go solo to such events!
I'm writing this from the hammock outside our room taking in the full moon over the volcanos & the lake. It's impossible to take a good picture but let me tell you it's pretty fantastic :)
