Botanical Gardens - This is such a peaceful, beautiful and serene place right in the heart of Sydney. Our first trip around Sydney we ventured into the Gardens and it takes a good few hours to really take it all in. Next to the harbour you can sit down in the grass and have a picnic. They ENCOURAGE you to hug trees and walk/lie in the grass! In this picture if you look closely in the trees they have hundreds of "Flying foxes" (bats) all over the Gardens. Really freaky when you stand under them.
