Two Monkeys...Monkeying Around

Last days in OZ

Well, our time in this utopic land is nearing its end. Though our suntans and burns bear witness to our time downunder, our memories and photos are the true testiments of our incredible experience here. We landed bright eyed, naive in Sydney 6 months ago and leave in a few days, out of Brisbane, on a 30 hour flight back to the frigid north.

We can definately say that "we made it" here. Sydney presented its share of challenges, but we both overcame them in our own ways and grew both as individuals and as a couple. The coast of Queensland has been awe inspiring and literaly "you have to see it to beleive it"... the Great Barrier Reef, Tallship Cruise, Camel Rides, Rainforests, Waterfalls, Kangaroos, driving on the left... It's with a heavy heart that we leave this country of such amazingly friendly people, of the most delicious fresh fruit and seafood, the land of endless beaches and beautiful sunsets, of an unmistakable "joie de vivre" and an unforgetable way of life. This experience has changed us both and has prepared us for the next step in our lives.

We couldn't have done it without the help of our parents to which we owe so much, and to the support of all our friends. We look forward to seeing you all very soon!

In the meantime, we intend to take it easy, soak up the last of the warm 30+ weather and to commit to memory as much as we possibly can. Thanks Australia, it's been a blast!
