"Travel and change of place impart new vigor to the mind", said Seneca... I hope he is right... because travelling alone is not easy business!
One day I see great views, another day it's raining and I cannot do what I had planned... One day I meet nice people, another day I stay the full day alone... One day I take a 18hour-bus and find myself enjoying a breathtaking view of the stars in the middle of patagonia... another day I'm not able to sleep in a similar 18hour-bus, and get wet because the window of this bus didn't close properly. One day I meet old friends in Buenos Aires, another day I miss people back at home... travelling alone puts you in many unfamiliar situations... and that naturally brings ups, downs, and learning...
One day, I was walking in a street in Buenos Aires, I liked it... but I got disappointed beacuse it was under big renovations works. Then I though.. why am I dissapointed? I've got to enjoy the places and understand them... Buenos Aires is not there only for myself to enjoy it!... so then I looked at the street in a different way... streets need renovations, because electricity and water systems can break down, and that would be very bad for the people living here... everything can break down if we don't take care of it, in Argentina and everywhere in the world... Later on that day, I saw a couple of buildings under renovation.. and I enjoyed seeing them.
So, from all the Downs I got... I only managed to enjoy one of them. That's a start... it's good to keep in mind that "the biggest room in the world is the room for improvement"
