Cartagena de Indias
SPAIN | Thursday, 29 October 2009 | Views [433]
I have arrived to this city and I stay at the Bocagrande area, which is 5 minutes from the old city. Cartagena and Cuzco are the most beautiful cities I have been, both of them have the best colonial style in South America cities. When you go for a walk in the old city you can see the colonial style in the big houses and their balconies, all of them with nice flowers. Weather is very hot because of the humedity then the last two days is better because is cloudy and not as hot as the days before. The only problem in Cartagena is the tourism, there are lots of tourists from everywhere, and the local people are like a pain in your ass! They try to sell to you everything and when you want to go for a walk and enjoy the nice city is like a nightmare! Prices are increased in everything even now which is low season, then I will go tomorrow to go through the Caribean Coast in order to avoid touristic places!
