Made it to LAX very early. I rented a car in MIssion Valley and Mike took me there at 1:30. I was on the road by 2:05 and made it to Budget drop off in 2:15 minutes. I didn't expect it to be nearly that quick, but there was hardly any traffic. There was only one person ahead of me at the check-in and no one going through security. It was a breeze. EASIEST CHECK-IN EVER.
The United Club lounge is very disapointing. Not nearly as good of selection of eats and you can't mix your own drinks. I miss British Airways now. The chairs look very comfortable through and I will be making good use of them as I have 5 hours to kill. I am not going to enjoy the wait, but knowing the stress is over is a nice feeling. No more worries about traffic or accidents or problems with airline ticketing.
