We hoped in our little JD (our car) and drove down into Wales. From where we live it's just a clear run on the motorway down past the boarder. We went to this place called Snowdonia National Park, it's where all the mountains and gorgeous scenery is.
Every corner we turned, every town we went through was all different and just absolutely pristine and beautiful.
We both couldn't stop saying to each other how beautiful it was.
It's Autumn at the moment and all the leaves are changing colour and falling on to the ground. The sight is just amazing as you are driving through a tunnel of trees and the leaves are falling onto the car...it's B_E_A_UTIFUL!!
We drove along the coastline in the overcast weather seeing all the rich houses along the coastline, too posh for us! As we came around one bend there was an old rundown castle up on the hill. It's the first thing you see as you come into the town, both of us at the same time said, "WOW"!! as you can imagine. Then we tried finding ways of getting up to the castle to have a look. There was an entance at the bottom of the hill so we parked the car about 100metres away, nearest park. Then we headed towards the entrance, little did we know it was closed and looked like it had been that way for a while. We then decided to find another way up there. So we drove up this REALLY steep road that was bendy and was at 25%. It was very scary, but JD and Jamie got us there with no injuries. Quite a nice view of the town whilst up there. We found a way into the castle, however we didn't go in because we had to pay £2 for 2 hour parking (Jamie refuses to pay for parking seeing as though it's free in Rocky!) and then a further £6 ponds just to go into a really run down castle, so we just took photos instead, it's free - the way we like it.
We took lots of pictures but we haven't had a chance to download them yet. So they shouldn't be too far away now, maybe tomorrow I will download them if I get a chance.
