I'm still in Los Angeles, CA, but the tickets are bought, the shots taken...in the next few days I'll be returning to the SFBay Area on my motorcycle (one last hurrah before I fly so to speak!) and then I am flying to Cagayan de Oro, Philippines. The area was hit by a typhoon in December and All Hands Volunteers is helping Habitat For Humanity rebuild houses for the displaced families.
As an aside the difference between a hurricane and a typhoon? None. Except for their location...ie the ocean it's ravaging!
