I was pretty wiped out today and still had
no voice so I just had Courtney and Kate go out on their own. They took the
sightseeing bus and had a great time all day. When they came back in the
evening, we went for pizza in Piazza della Republica. I wanted to take them to
Pizzaoulo but it sadly is closed on Sundays! They still enjoyed the pizza and
we sat right next to the carousel so the atmosphere was great. We wanted to
make it back to the bridge for the sunset, which we did so that was an amazing
sight. After the sunset, we came back and then the girls and I and Katie went
up to Piazza Michelangelo and had our wine. Piazza Michelangelo is our favorite
place in Florence so I was excited
to share it with people. We had a great night up there just talking, because my
voice was back a little bit! I’m really glad the girls had a great time in Florence; hopefully all our
visitors are just as satisfied!
