More stories

Hi All

In San Diego Halloween is over and thanksgiving and the sales just around the corner, how easy it is to fall back into commercialism !!!

I spent the most painful $90 dollars ever ensuring I was decent enough to take advantage of the pool!!

My trip to the island in Fiji was amazing I spent snday at the local church, the singing was amazing then was invited to stay for lunch as there was the arch bishop over to confirm some local children!! A little emabarrssing as I got to sit next to him on the top table, fortunately I was properly dreesed!!!

I then went to visit a local village and was introduced to the cheif and had to !! sampple Kava(see fotos!!)

When I arrived back on the main land I was caught out by the local artisans and now have 2 wooden dagger like objects with my name carved on!!

Fiji is a really mixed place with fijians and Indian Fijians living harmoniously side by side, particularly on the island I visited they didint partcularly know what racism was ? How wonderful.

My comments seem to have dried up recently but maybe the photos will create a few more?!!

Here until the 26th then off to New York. Just booked my ticket to Toronto 28th-3rd then back to New York until the 6th!

More updates to follow hopefully

Take care

Lack of comments?? How very rude!! Do you think we have nothing better to do than read and comment on your exploits?? Do you realise how depressing it is to see glorious photos of far away lands when we are stuck here in Blighty with all the joys of November to look forward to?? So rude! You should be grateful that the comments you have had have not contained expletives!!!! Then to cap it all I texted Jo only to have a reply that she was watching the sunset, avec vino, on a balcony in Cyprus!?! I am tying a noose as we speak....... All I've done this weekend was shopping in Hull (5th Avenue it is not, but pleasant enough), and been to a housewarming in Wrenthorpe. Hardly the stuff that Hello are clamouring to feature I tell you. Jo did say she'd tried to log on to you but connection was slow so she gave up. Poor excuse from a so called friend. I reckon she'd heard the wine waiter approaching. We know where her loyalties lie!

Well, off to do some ironing now but do keep filling me on your fun and frolics, just don't expect me to whoop quite as loudly as if I was there with you!!!! Only kidding, keep it coming, its lovely to see the photos too. Mwah xxxx

The photos are great. Figi looks lovely. Does make things here seem a little dull I have to say! Enjoy your time with Catherine and family.

Sorry Max!! But it's nice to know you guys have not forgotten me! Visits to Hull and house warmings are cool too!! To be honest I know my exploits have calmed lately so you have nothing much to go on but I refuse to revert to my scary Mary hair and knickerless exploits I am in sophisicated San Diego after all!!!
Posted this as comment rather than story? So hopefully you will see it.
Heard anything from Miss Piggy?

You can't comment on your own blog!! That's up to us far away in the cold and windy UK. Stop showing off just cos you're back where you can access computers a bit more!
Photos do look great and so glad to see that you're getting to grips with some more alcohol/narcotic infusions. You'll be wanting to go out on the razz round Rotherham when you get back - count me in - watching you down a few in the deeply cosmopolitan bars that Rotherham has to offer has to be seen!!!
Well babes, enjoy SD and doing family stuff and keep us up to date with your antics.

Don't forget while you are in San Diego to have an ice cream from the Cold Stone Creamery for me will you. Raw cake flavour is goooorrrrgggeeous!!!

And no, I haven't heard anything really from Miss Piggy apart from one or two texts. She has been a bit poor on leaving comments hasn't she? Bout time she got herself a laptop at home!!!

Hi!! I'm back :0)

Had a week in the sun in Cyprus which was lovely (the sun) - not keen on Cyprus tho - too British and like here they are throwing up apartment blocks on every spare inch of land. There was a McDonald's, Debenhams, KFC and the local supermarket is being taking over by TESCO :0( There should be laws against it. Soon we won't need to bother going anywhere as everywhere will be the same. Well that's my rant over.

Did try to keep in touch while away but the place I could access the internet only had dial up and you could only put 50cents in at a time so I had to keep re-logging in and trying to read the latest info and comments. I got to start writing a comment but then ran out of change so gave up.

Was relieved to see you had got to Catherine's and they were all ok following the fires out there.

Me thinks you have done this trip the wrong way round. Am worried that the month in the US of A will undo all the dramatic changes and you will be consumed by commercialism and we will not get to see or experience the 'new' Trace. Max maybe if we make our first production the story of Tracey's travels and focus it on the camping, alcohol drinking, mad hair, lack of underwear, dealing with rats - did you say you've got a dirty ine we could use? - and snakes, with Tracey playing herself we may mangae to undo the damage of the US bit? Am sure we can find an Arch Bishop costume and one for a Village Chief.

Perhaps if we redo her house too and remove some of the material trappings and just leave the basics. There's room in the garden for a tent and we could set up a hammock in the tree.

Am just off into town complete with sunglasses as I refuse to see the christmas trees and decorations all glinting at me. Am sporting earplugs too. If one more person says, "It's only 7 weeks to the big day," I may not be able to be responsible for my actions.

Have a great time with Catherine, Ian and the kids.

Lots of love

Yes, where are you then? Getting bored of blogging now you're sat on your bum lazying around in the USA, all nice and sunny and warm!?!! While we get colder and colder and the nights get darker and darker so it's dark when you go to work and dark when you get back...............!!???!!!
Not that I'm bitter or jealous or anything.
