Phanganburi Resort is located at Haad Rin Nai at the very southern tip of Koh Phangan. Haad Rin is infamous as being the home of the full moon party that takes place every month on the Haad Rin Nok beach.
Phanganburi is about 5 minutes walk from the main entertainment centre and party beach which allows a bit of breathing space. At some point having 30,000 people stomping on your head becomes a bit overwhelming and so it is good to sleep and Phanganburi offers that - in comfort.
The resort has a range of different accommodation styles - traditional hotel rooms, suites and bungalows which are near the beach and the two swimming pools.
There are several bars, restaurants, a Spa and a large beach front. Not too expensive as prices start from around 2,000 Baht a night.
