Morning Star Resort is a very lively place in the centre of the party action on Koh Phangan. The resort has about 20 bungalows that have just been built surrounding the swimming pool and beachfront. Each bungalow is very modern and up to hotel standards.
The beach cocktail bar is very popular and the party starts here whether it is full moon or not. The half moon party is just up the road and the black moon party about two minutes walk.
Haad Rin is a place that many people like to escape from as it is too noisy and overcrowded. Morning Star offers a half way house as it is about 10 minutes by car to Haad Rin and positioned on the west coast at Ban Tai - also with easy access to Thongsala for shopping.
