I'm in Margaret River at the moment. It's not as hot here as Perth and I'm feeling it a bit chilly! Going on a "wine tour for dudes" today. I'll let you know if I turn into a dude.
...(continued) I'm still a chick! Had a lovely day today doing the wine tour. The weather was perfect, the wine was good and the food was lovely. Two lovely Aussie ladies bought me a box of heart shaped chocolates at the chocolate factory we visited after lunch and the tour guide got me a free bottle of my favourite wine at the last winery we visited. Everyone sang happy birthday and I went scarlet. It was very kind and generous of them and even the littlest things can mean a lot when you're so far from home. The G-man bought me an akubra hat. He got exactly the right size, colour and style, and it even folds away so I can carry it around easily during the rest of my trip. Clever boy! So all in all I'm very chuffed, despite being 29.
