A plague in my house

DOMINICAN REPUBLIC | Wednesday, 24 May 2006 | Views [572]

Well a new fun fact is after rain is is quite common to receive a plague.

Lisa (another visitor) was in my hosue and we were simply preparing dinner while it was raining. After the rain we noticed a few flying ants around the lights. Only about ten or so. Well within five minutes they were everywhere in everything .... we turned off all the lights and hid in a room in the dark with towels under the doors and tried to eat dinner while checking it for bugs. When we came out... all the bugs had gone following the light into my laundry where they were all ling on the floor... by the next day all that was left was wings.

Apparently after rain they just come in a drop their wings in a big mess... still finding them now a few weeks later.
