Hi, we left the Whitsundays to travel up to Cairns but decided to stop off on the way. We had one night on a tropical site right on a beautiful beach at Rollingstone. But looks can be deceiving, no swimming on this tropical beach! Jellyfish and crocadiles here! eeek! we then moved on to Mission beach in search of the strange pre-historic looking Southern Cassawary (large bird). We went on a number of walks in the very dense rainforest but saw no Cassawaries, we did see lots of its poo though - lovely!
