A great few days were spent with Giz & Lidia, a break from the UK and the stress of trying to find work after leaving Gozo. It had been a year since we last got together, but as usual it felt like it had only been a few days.
We generally chilled, walked, sat on the beach, enjoyed the great food of Spain - tapas and menu del dia, not to forget Giz's great BBQ's on his patio.
We has a day trip to Blanes, The Salvador Dali museum at Figueras and the Portaventura amusement park, especially enjoying the 8 loop 'dragon khan' rollercoaster & hurakan condor (100m freefall drop).
It all came to an end too soon, whilst there we got confirmation of work in Turks & Caicos (caribbean) which was a plus, sadely I know its going to be another year before I get to chill with Giz again
