Probably the most spectacular site on the island. Fifteen Moai that were knocked over in the 17th century by fighting tribes then scattered around the area in 1960 by a Tsunami caused by an earthquake. Chilie and Japan collaborated in 1992 to erect the Moai and we were sure glad they did.
