Yee Haah! Wyoming's Wild West

Rodeo, Cody

Rodeo, Cody

Cody, in Wyoming, is the Wild West capital of the States. Citizens wear cowboy hats and boots; motorbikers wear leather chaps; spurs jingle down the street and the mode of travel is pick up truck or horse.

We had a great time watching a staged shoot out in town- actors played parts of legendary characters such as the Sundance Kid, Doc Holliday, Calamity Jane and Wyatt Earp as shots rang out from bank, saloon and dunny!

We went to a fabulous music night where top musicians played classics such as "The devil went down to Georgia" and "Duelling banjos".

We went to a rodeo. These cowboys are totally mad! They rode bucking broncos and huge bulls. Cowgirls raced round barrels at super high speed and even the kids rode and lassoed calves.

We love this place!
