Too strange to believe

All of the doors were locked with a padlock when we left the station so nobody could sneak on the slow moving train once it left. I guess it worked since nobody did get on!

Train from Hanoi to Hue:  Upon leaving the station at Hanoi, the conductors locked all of the doors on the train with PADLOCKS!  I walked up and down 8 cars on the train and found all of our doors locked.  Good thing there wasn't an accident or it would have been a bit problematic leaving the train.

Locked for your safety, security, and comfort! (I'm sure there was an easy-to-use blowtorch in the emergency case.)
