Hue, Vietnam – This was going to be one of my shortest stays of my journey…24 hours. Since the train arrived late into Hue, I was down to 20 hours. First hour was spent showering and trying to pretend I belong to the human race. I was out the door by 1pm and hit the top three in town:
- The Citadel which was contructed in ??, by ?? and later destroyed by ??. It is being repaired now by the ?? and lots of people go there so I guess it is important.
- The Buddha: All the Buddhas are now blurring together like the temples so I am sorry I can’t really shed to much light on this tourist spot.
- Grave of ??, who was a famous emperor during the ?? century and is famous for ??. Lots of people also go here so it was worth visiting as well.
Tomorrow I head off for Hoi An at 8am. I sent out my clothes to get cleaned so I hope they are back by then or smelly Chris will be doing a 3-4 bus ride alone.
