Chiang Mai: Woke up this morning and it seems I didn’t have any visitors that last night that wanted to feast on my blood. I did have a cat that refused to leave my hut however. Prior to going to bed, 6 local village women came to the Park to give massages (120 baht/$3.00 USD). I got a Thai massage. Basically it is a massage (fully clothed) where they try to bend your legs behind your head and put your body in positions that God hadn’t intended it to be in.
I woke up this morning at 2:00 am , 4:00 am and finally I gave up trying to sleep any more at 5:00am. It is rather nice watching the morning start its day here in the Park. Did I mention that this is also a dog sanctuary (about 2,000 of them here….or so it seems). Breakfast is being served shortly (only vegetarian meals here) so it is healthy time for Chris.
