Hanging out

CANADA | Sunday, 10 April 2011 | Views [530]

We have pretty much just been hanging out at the Belanger mansion and catching up with friends for dinners etc, but there has been so much snow lately it has been unbelievable. Locals are saying it is one of the best snow seasons in 15 years. If you can remember the Olympics last year, there wasn't much snow and they had to truck, helicopter and scrape it from all over to complete the events at Cypress Mountain. This year there is still a 640cm snow base in April! The Olympics should have been this year. Good for us though! I had a day last week at Cypress of 50cm of powder, with over 110cm during the week. The freezing levels are rising though which means its warming up and we have had some sunny days of late. We also found an old tricycle in the garage from Danielle's youth and cleaned it up for her niece to ride someday, its pimpin! Check the photos.
