The Revelstoke trip fell through so we decided for a day trip up to Whistler. It had just had 47cm in the last 48 hours so we new it would be worth it. At $95 for a day pass its expensive but Whistler and Blackcomb are some of the best mountains around. When we arrived we found out that they hadn't opened a lot of terrain the previous day due to high winds. Bonus! We flipped a coin and decided on Blackcomb for the day. Just as we got near to the top they opened Crystal chair so we were some of the first down that side. Arthurs Choice etc.We then rode most of the morning in the trees off the Solar Coaster chair, then a couple of laps through the 7th Heaven trees. Riding all day through the powder takes it toll but well worth the effort. Check the vid!
